Optical Transmittance Meter DST-2501

Instantly measure the light transmittance of infrared, ultraviolet, and visible light! Easily evaluate the performance of transparent materials such as glass, synthetic resin films, and light-blocking paints!

Overview of the Optical Transmittance Meter DST-2501 The optical transmittance is expressed as a percentage by irradiating ultraviolet (UV), infrared (IR), and visible light (VL) from each light source and allowing it to pass through the transparent material. Main Applications of the Optical Transmittance Meter DST-2501 Simple measurement of the optical transmittance performance of transparent glass, acrylic, polycarbonate, and UV/IR shielding films, as well as verification tests in various construction sites and promotional fields. How to Use the Optical Transmittance Meter DST-2501 1. After connecting the power supply to the meter, turn on the power switch without placing anything in the measurement chamber. 2. Place the object to be measured in the measurement chamber and bring it close to the light receiving part (on the left side of the main unit). 3. Each measurement value will be displayed as a digital number. 4. Turn off the power when the meter is not in use. 5. Do not use in highly corrosive, high temperature, or high humidity environments. 6. During prolonged continuous use, the LED's emission performance may decrease, causing the digital display to not show 100. In such cases, turn off the power immediately, allow it to rest for a while, and then it will be able to measure normally again.
